Could I complain about something for a minute??
I was on my insurance companies website and you can look up specialists.I was looking up eating disoder specialists just for the hey of it, maybe I would give it another try..anyways, TWO therapists that I had previously been to were listed as "eating disoder speicalists" and when I got to their office, NEITHER OF THEM HAD HARDLY ANY TRAINING WITH ED's. In fact, one of them even had to look up in her little book to see if I qualified as a bulimic, despite the fact that I was throwing up three times a day! The other had had a couple anorexic patients but never a bulimic. I left feeling sick and pissed off and discouraged.How can they be listed as specialists when they don't know what the ---- they are doing???
