Hi
I am almost 5 months post op and still have sorness in the insicion area which my doc said is normal.
I also get very tired easily to where I feel I have been hit by a mack truck !!!
BUT MY GOD MY MOOD SWINGS !!!
At work last week a client got me so mad I had to put her on hold then threw the phone !!!! I yelled at my husband (we work together0 YOU BETTER TAKE THIS CALL BEFORE I TELL HER WHERE TO GO !!! And this was on friday !! I wasnt due to change my patch till monday !!!
Then last night (sunday night) I couldn't sleep and I just started hystericaly crying !!! FOR NO REASON !! I feel like a looney case !! I feel like Cybil !!!
Either I need a stronger patch but I dont want to be on a stronger dose of estrgen...or something !!!
Has anyone have any iddeas on what I can do ??

What patch are you on? Maybe a call to the doc is in order and some bloodwork!!!
I am on the vivelle dot and change two times a week and granted, I am just starting my way through the hormone jungle...but so far so good.
I hope you find something soon that will work for you and get you feeling like your old self again!

I think smithereens is right. Go see your doc and ask to see a specialist in hrt. I have read that it can take several attempts to get the right type and dosage (you may be on too strong a dose or need more). And also that you need to monitor how you are with hrt as your body can change, even in menopause, and then require something different at a later stage.

The patch I am on is Estroderm 0.05 mg.
I have an appointment with my Endocrinologist on Monday morning...hopefuly ge get get me to feel normal again !!
