I suspect that noni IS a scam. But did anybody see what it consists of - like, how much sugar, which minerals etc? It should not be a secret - almost all products have this information on the labels. FDA also can check the product on the regular drugs in it - has anybody seen any information about it?
I would appreciate any response.

StarGather,
By using the words "noni juice quack" in my internet search engine, I found lots of articles about how this juice is sold for lots of money in pyramid schemes to gullible people who think it will cure them of : "abrasions, arthritis, atherosclerosis, bladder infections, boils, bowel disorders, burns, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, circulatory weakness, colds, cold sores, congestion, constipation, diabetes, drug addiction, eye inflammations, fever, fractures, gastric ulcers, gingivitis, headaches, heart disease, hypertension, improved digestion, immune weakness, indigestion, intestinal parasites, kidney disease, malaria, menstrual cramps, menstrual irregularities, mouth sores, respiratory disorders, ringworm, sinusitis, skin inflammation, sprains, stroke, thrush, and wounds".
Yes, it's a scam. The sellers CANNOT LEGALLY CLAIM that it will cure any of these health issues. What they do is word their pitches to say that "many people have experienced blah blah". There are NO scientific tests showing that this product can cure anything.
It's a fruit juice. It has a bit of natural fruit sugar, a few vitamins, a few minerals, a few anti-oxidents. Lots of fruits have similar ingredients, and cost LOTS less.

I say don't knock it till you have tried it. My family and I have been on Noni juice for 5 years and I wouldn't live a day without it. You have to be on it for at least a month to let it build up in your body before you will see any effect. It has helped with a lot of things in our family. I started taking it after having two miscarriages and have had two babies since then. I was Estrogen dominent at the time. It has helped me with corpal tunnel, arthritis, having more energy, allergies, making me more regular. It has helped my husband with back pain due to inflammation (he broke his back 15 years ago) it has also helped him with crohn's disease, arthritis, sleeping disorders, energy. It has helped our kids sleep better, their immune systems are stronger and our son stopped wetting the bed when he started taking it. There are probably things I am forgetting but I know for a fact that it WORKS! When we have been off of it (due to financial situations) all these symptoms come back. It is a little bit expensive but worth it.

Harry:I would be interested to know what brand you used and how much you were taking and did you take it regularly? I used Tahitian Noni (Morinda)and it worked great. There are a lot of brands out there and some are watered down and some are in pill form (liquid is better-its state has not been altered). That's why I asked because I could understand if someone wasn't taking a good brand of a product and it wasn't working but on the other hand, I would hate to see someone miss out on the benefits of a good brand. It's kind of the same principle of buying expensive vitamins verses the cheap brands and expecting to get the same results.

We took Morinda brand and to buy it less expensively I became a distributor probably like many people.
My son has psoriasis and my wife has arthritis.
I think it is a scam! If it did all the things claimed -- or even some disorders like Crohn's Disease or Arthritis -- it would be great but It claims too much and delivers very little-- There have been no valid tests.
I could make the same claims for your family if you just drank purer water!!
Just my experience.

Well Harry I don't get it. It worked for us and not your family. That's hard to understand but I guess in this case we have to agree to disagree. No hard feelings here just wanted to express what I thought about it. Thanks, Rachel

This is for Harry: We have been off of Noni again for 2 months(due to financial situations) and the authritis in my left hand has been bothering me again. Also the whole family has had one infection after another. We are never sick like this. My husbands back is bothering him again too. Don't understand how this can work for us and not anybody else but it does. I CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE!
