well the symptoms vary in severity from person to person and from situation to situation. for me i just get very high strung and nervous - my friend told me the other day I was a spaz. I stopped and looked at how i was acting and yeah, i was spazzing out. Some people have full on panic attacks that can be debilitating and horrifying - others just feel uncomfortable in certain situations, some people (like me) just feel stressed out and worried for no real reason. It really varies. Best to talk to your doctor.

Having persistent anxiety is almost like you are in an altered state,you feel nervous,but don't know why and you are always aware its there.I have had it for over 20 years now,on and off and am now on Paxil.It helped ALOT.I am on a very low dose,only 10mgs,and probably need to up to 20 mgs as I am now starting perimenopause,which brought all the anxiety back!
