Hello. I was just wondering...do any of you experience fears along the lines of end of the world events such as asteroids, supervolcanos, biblical events, etc. I have ths horrible irrational fear that the world is going to end. In my lifetime. I panic over the thought and the possibilities. I won't sleep all night because I don't feel safe until the sun is up. It's like I feel like it will happen while I am sleeping. I used to watch the moon because I thought it was going to crash into the earth. I see bright stars in the sky and freak out because I think it's a comet or asteroid on it's way to smash into us. And I feel like if there was something like that going to happen the media and government would hide it from us. I worry about the upcoming pole shifts in 2012. I am worried that the earth's electo magnetic field will be too low during the pole shift and we will be smashed into the ground. I worry about nuclear war. So many things. I have been seeing this very, very bright star? in the sky in the SW around 8 pm central time. Its been worrying me. there is no way that's a star. Anyone know what it is? Sorry this is so long. I know this is crazy but I'm going out of my mind with this crippling fear. I even have dreams about the end of the world. Very very vivid realistic dreams. This scares me too as I have had alot of dreams that eventually come true. I was once in a plane emergency when the engine failed....I dreamed about it weeks before the flight and even told the air steward that the plane was going to go down when I 1st got on the plane.

i always think the world is going to end while im alive with things like that. my main worry is water. i have never been in a bad situation or anything with water though.

i have a lot of nightmares where i am running away from waves that are about to go over me. i have a lot of nightmares where my house and all the houses in the world are sinking down and the water is rising above it and everyone is dying.

its horrible :(

maybe you have a 6th sense or something though about your dreams coming true and that.

I sure hope I don't have a 6th sense. I don't want any of the things I dream and think about to come true. I, too have had dreams that water was coming over everything and I looked at my brother and said is it the end? and he said Yes, but don't be afraid. In all of my dreams the planets are aligned. I can see them all so vividly...lined up. In one of my other dreams I was taken to a pool by a man (i don't know who he was) and I knew the world was ending and he said don't worry your family will all be with you and just as I looked in the sky and saw a light coming (asteroid I assume) he told me to get into the water because it would reduce trauma to my body. Strange huh? Also when the planets are aligned I am always looking NW in my dreams.

i to had those fears at one point of my life. i just realized that even if they do happen it is out of my control so why worry about it.. I will just have to deal with it when it happens,,,, I just wish I could think that way over my health..... I fear something will happen to me and I freak out. Sometims, i just wish I coudl have the outside fears instead of my health fears....

Doesn't this just suck! I hate it that we all have these irrational fears. I bet the stress and anxiety alone wreak havoc on our bodies. Thanks for the replies and support on this. I am glad and sad that I am not alone on this.

i know how you feel.i often think the world is going to end shortly.i feel it will be through nuclear war.i have obsessed with this thought since the age of 14.a long time ago.but you know we cannot do anything to stop it.even so, i still have these thought every day of my life.terrible.

Tsunami's, more powerful hurricanes, terrorism, and 7.6 earthquakes in pakistan killing 40,000 people.

this is biblical and Jesus is coming. Get right with god. Don't worry, because through the lord there will be no more pain or worry in heaven. jason

Ahhh...thanks alot jayboy. I don't want anything to happen in my lifetime or anyone's lifetime. Biblical or not. My anxiety make me live in fear of this everyday of my life and it's unbearable. I know death is out of my control but how do I control my fears?
