Here is a wierd one for you parenting experts out there! My three month old daughter has been supplementing with a bottle since 2 weeks. She has never had a problem with it before. Suddenly this past weekend, she would not take a bottle. In fact, she would scream if we tried to put it in her mouth at all. Therefore, when I'm at work and she's with the sitter, she is not eating all day! Bad news. She is nursing fine. We have tried different nipples. She's seen the doctor, who said her throat is not red and she doesn't seem to have any sores in her mouth. She may be starting to teeth, but I'm not sure if a bottle would hurt her but nursing wouldn't, if that were the case. Any advice?

I had the exact same problem w/ my DS and even posted a thread on it too. My DH would give him the bottle in the morning and one day DS just refused, would scream like crazy and not take it. This happened at 2mo and we gave him a 2wk break. He is taking it again but not as good. What works best is giving it to him when he is not starving, over longer period. Hope this helps.
