I received my medical records and have some questions regarding what some of these initials are. I called the lab and they said they cannot tell me that. Weird. Anyway...if anyone knows, I need to know what these mean:

Hemogram

WBC x 10^3
RBC x 10^6
HGB
HCT
MCV
MCH
MCHC
RDW
PLT x 10^3
MPV

Differential

Seg/Gran
Lymph
MONO
EOS
BASO

Chemistry

Anion
BUN
B/C Ratio

I know the following ones

WBC = White Blood Cell count
RBC = Red Blood Cell count

I will see if i can find out the rest

The reason the lab won't tell you is because they don't want to get into a big discussion with a patient about what your results "mean" They want you to discuss it with your doctor.
