I desperately need a root canal due to a crown breaking off at the gum line. However, my dr.can't see me until Friday. I am in terrible pain. Does anyone have any ideas on how to relieve the pain until then? Heat, cold compresses, etc.

NO, the dr. is out of town, and no one there to prescribe it. I have some Darvocet on hand which I have been trying to get by with, but they are not very strong.

u need to run to a pharmacy and get tylenol pm.. take the darv and that together.. i did that after with my wisdom teeth surgery.. the perks were to hard on my tummy so i took motrin 600 and ty pm.. it was great..
