I am 27 years old and have a severe underbite. It has been a major stumbling block in my life. I have been a bartender for 8 years and not a day goes by that someone does not say something negative about it. It has cost me job oppurtunities, relationships, and much more. I cannot stand living like this anymore! There is no way I am or will be able to afford the surgery that is involved to correct the problem. I was a professional chemistry major for 3 and a half years. I have potential in life that, for me, will never be met until this plague upon me is corrected. If there is anyone that can help, PLEASE notify me at boozenazi@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Brooks

Sorry to hear about your problem, I wish I had any easy answer for you. Unfortunately in cases of severe skeletal malocclusion (like your describing) usually surgery and braces are the only way to correct it. If you can't afford this your only option would be to seek a dental school or oral surgery training program and see about a cheaper price. Good luck!
