Hi Picca,
Well I just put out another posting, but thanks for asking. I have to say that I had my cleaning...and boy did it hurt. They had to really get under my gum line and dig everything out, but I feel so much better now that I had it done. I went just before gingivitis set in. I found out that I have 8 cavaties now, but if I can go through what I just went through with the cleaning I can deal with getting cavaties filled...especialy before I need to have any root canals. They will do 3 the first visit, then 3 the next and then the last 2. They told me that the ones I have closer to the front they won't use novacain for because of the pain of the needle. I am hoping it won't hurt too too bad without it.
I then need to go in for the rest of my cleaning...polishing, etc...and then for my crown. Believe me you, after all this I will be seeing my dentist every 6 months.
I am glad that you are feeling better though...that's great!! My question I just posted was in regards to my gums....they are still sore after all this time (2-1\2 weeks) I am tired of rinsing with salt water (cankersores) and peroxide is just nasty!! So I didn't know what else I could use...any thoughts? Well I hope to hear back from you. Thanks for your concern!!

Worry,
Glad its finally done for you,(the cleaning) and I hear ya!!! Been there done that a few years in therapy outta cure it. LOL
Myself I do a quick rinse/swish with Strei/Sol, hurt the first few times but really eased the gum and canker sores. Then follow with a warm salt rinse. Their right about the front ones no big nerves and the needles do hurt like hell, this I know, but get them to novacane the gums, somehow it just feels a little better even if your only half frozen, I think its more physcological(spelling).
As for the Steri/Sol in Canada its overcounter not sure about states, or if even avaliable there? But the active ingredient is Hexetidine at .1% works like a charm no canker or sore gums after 3days for me, Id lay off the peroxide and lessen the salt sounds like you may be over doing it abit.
Hope you feel better soon,
I'm rooten for ya!
Tawnya
