Hello

I am hoping some of you out there will have some ideas or information for me.
Over the last two years I have had two teeth removed on my lower left side. I think #18 and 19#. I have one molar in the very back left. That now might need a root c. or pulled. That would leave me with a big gap with three teeth missing? Yikes I hate that.

Is there any partial or denture made for somthing like this. With having nothing in the back for somthing to hook on to. Any thoughts or ideas would really help. Thanks

There are basically 2 options for you to fill that gap if you lose the last molar. First would be a removable partial denture, which is basically a metal frame that rests on your remaining teeth and has false teeth where your space is. This is the cheaper solution.

The second would be an implant supported bridge. This is a fixed replacement and is superior to a removable one in a lot of ways. It would also be about 10* as expensive.

Thanks very much for your reply.

I really hope that this tooth can be saved but at least if the worst happens I have some options.

Just one question? I know you told me that the partial would connect to my remaining teeth but could you be more specific as to where and how?
Thank You very much!!
