Hi,
I have an anal Fistula. I had surgery Sept. 21st. by the doctor inserting a plug into the Fistula that was suppose to heal it. This is a new procedure that was just approved in April/May 2005. Like a fool, I was the first patient that the doctor has performed this surgery. The surgery failed, and now I have to have the Fistula Surgery done the traditional way of laying the tract open. My Fistual is a single fistula that is low and straight. Which is suppose to be easier as far as surgery.
Has anybody out there had Fistula surgery? I would love to hear from you.
