Hi I'm new to this site and find it very helpful and I'm hoping someone may help me.

I have vibration in my right ear and now I'm starting to get headaches I went to the doctors on Friday and he gave me some antibiotixs (soz about the spelling) he seems to think I might have a infection ready to happen. I had it last saturday and sunday and on sunday night it went but then it came back on Friday and thats when I went to the doctors then it went on saturday and then it came back this morning. I have also notice that my ear feels numb. Has anybody else had a vibration feeling in there ears and if so did they find out what it was?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the boards! Hope by now your ear infection or the vibration has eased a bit. I have had some vibration when I had labyrinthitis, but it was short lived and each episode didn't last long in itself. The ENT I saw seemed to think it was typical of the virus I had, but maybe it is just a symptom of ear trouble. Do you get any other symptoms with it?

Thank you for getting back to me. I haven't really had any other symptoms with it and it has gone now so I think the antibiotics worked I think like you said I might have had a virus or an infection.
