Hey Im really sorry to hear about the problems with you husband. I am sure that he is so frustrated with this. Unfortunately I can't offer any advice as I don't know anything about this, but maybe by posting this will draw it to someones attention who can help. I assume you have been to see an ENT. Can you go to see someone else who may be more interested in trying to find out what is wrong? Has he had any scans to see if the ear is blocked? Hope you get the answers you need real soon.
Best wishes

Sounds maybe like Eustacian Tube Dysfunction. Have the doctors mentioned anything about the eustacian tube?? I'm not sure what they can do about it, but I have heard that they can put tubes in in chronic cases (like your husbands). I think there is some sort of pressure test they can do to find out. My doctors think I have some sort of Eustacian Tube problem, I hear noises like water sloshing around with loud noises and when there's an altitude change they get really plugged up and I get dizzy. My doctors haven't suggested anything except maybe benadryl to dry it up when needed. Try looking up Eustacian Tube stuff and maybe you can present something to your doctors... Good luck!!!
