View Full Version : Recurring colds/sore throat

Hi,
I've been having these recurring colds all year. I had a REALLY bad cough at one point, it wasn't productive but more a dry irratating cough. I've had earaches, constant nasal problems. I thought the nose issue was a sinus problem, as my head felt heavy, and felt as though there was stuff up there that wouldn't come down (too much info I know). My breath is terrible too and is embarrasing.
I've done all the 'deal with the symptoms bit' as doctors keep telling me. Beechams powder capsules, cold sweets, cough medicines, steamed eucalyptus crystals...etc. etc.

Just been to the Drs again with complaints about my tonsils flaring up...red, white spots, hard to swallow. This has been happening for the last couple of months and there seems to be a pattern.

It seems to be 1 big circle....sore throat that causes other infections...or is it the other way around?!

Anyway, I'm just fed up with it and told to go away and treat the symptoms, or oooh it's just that time of year, or you're having a bad year with colds...WHAT?!? I was given a course of antibios and it seemed to ease it, but it came straight back.

Anyone else fed up with recurring 'colds'?
