I lost my Kaiser insurance when I moved to another state. Now no insurance will pay for my hip surgery because it's pre-existing. :confused: I've been researching "medical tourism" and can go to Mexico to have the surgery for 1/5th of the cost in US. Has anyone out there gone overseas for hip replacement surgery? I've been in desperate pain for about 5 yrs. Meds aren't working anymore. My life style is totally compromised. I've been an athlete for my entire life, and this disability is killing me.
Anyone have any advice?
