How many BM's a day should a newborn have if they are being bottle fed.

It seems to me that the first week they are alive they want the baby to have as many bms a day as they are old. 5 days old=5 bms. But after those initial days and especially if you are bottle feeding the number will drop down. A newborn can have just 1 bm a day and be fine. As long as they aren't hard, your baby's system is doing fine. They can even skip a day. Nursed babies poop quite a bit more.

In the first month they poop almost after every feeding. My DS is 2.5mo and now for last 2wks can go for 5 days without pooping. (but I breastfeed)
