Hi,
I started the Questran Therapy around a month ago, however it was hard initially fitting it into my daily regime. Because of all the supplements, herbals and things that I took at meal time. So, I came up with a solution this last week...I take the meds and natural hormones at least an hour before the Questran and then I eat a half hour after the Questran. I have dropped some of the supplements and herbals temporarily that were required to take with food. Will start them back up after I'm done. I still take the antibiotics on time.

I started feeling much better...I felt so good that I decided to clean my kitchen floor with a cleaner...oops that was a mistake. I still can't handle chemicals...sends me into hypermode...runny nose, sorethroat, headache, tremors and noise sensitivity.

I take the Questran with 6 oz. of applejuice or water. And I eat shredded wheat in the morning with fruit. My doctor recommends an alkaline diet with it, which seems to work.

Anyway, is there anyone out there who is also using this treatment?
thanks, uvm

What are you trying to help with Questran? Is it allergies to chemicals??

Tho, originally I had been dx'd with FMS/CFS, the doctor insisted that I might have an underlining factor of neurotoxins also called biotoxins or possibly lymes disease. After lab work for infectious diseases was done, he requested I take a test for the toxins. Of which, I tested positive for chronic neurotoxins.

The Questran therapy binds the toxins in the stomach bile and eliminates them through waste. Without the treatment the toxins continue to cycle back into your cells, blood stream and your symptoms prevail.

My system is now messed up since falling ill, that chemicals like bleach, dusting spray, floor cleaners, some foods effect me. So yes, today I have sensitivities to chemicals and allergins. But, that is a symptom of not the cause of.

I believe that it started from Sick Building Syndrome, tho, there also is documentation out there that it is genetically predisposed, too. I'm still new at this and spend a lot of time researching so as to find the best treatment available. I believe that I'm on the right track, this last year I have experienced many times when my symptoms have diminished with treatment.

What is your story? uvm

What can you take if you can not take Questran? A side effect is brittle bones and I have severe osteoporosis already. A friend of mine is taking Questran for her Crohn's disease besides her other Crohn's meds and was just recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. Don't know if it had anything to do with the
Questran but she stopped taking it now.

thanks
