Hello,
Does anyone know if there are Supplements to cure Prostate Inflammation? I heard that Zinc Supplement is very useful for that.
Thanks,
Michael

are you talking about prostate ENLARGEMENT? That all men have after sixty?
Fish oil caps, 2,000mg a day at least. My husband had pain with urination
and after one week on fish oils he's cured. He takes CARLSON'S FISH OIL AND VITAMINS. He takes only one gelcap; he should, since he's diabetic, take
4,000mg of fish oil a day.
The stuff is amazing, as is garlic powder capsules and spirulina (working up
to 8 per day, starting with 2 daily). over 2 weeks.

You mean inflammed as in an Infection?? If you have an infection you need antibiotics like Cipro and Bactrim , 2 each daily for at least a month. And bathe your prostate in Vitamin C also, 1,000 mg a day. I take Ester C.
Unfortunately, men need to have 3 opinions. If you go to a surgeon you'll be more likely to have biopsies and surgeries. Go to a general practitioner you may get off with antibiotics. It's not an exact science. Even biopsies are difficult to read, often giving false positives, plus they are usually repeated over and over w/each one ending with pain and days of bleeding. Therefore, I will continue to steer my husband away from surgeons. Do a search
on your symptoms and their treatment. GL

Michael,
It appears that some men are more prone to inflammation(prostatitis). Any good urologist will not do a biopsy without first testing for other causes. The prostate is one of their specialties, so don't be afraid of them. I have seen younger men go through cycles of inflammation, frequently being treated with antibiotics. Zinc is a good idea, but too much can throw off copper balance in the body.
