shonks5 10-12-2005, 05:01 PM I was just curious what napping everyone is experiencing with baby?? danaMa 10-12-2005, 06:03 PM upto 12 mo, babies should nap 2-3 times a day for about 2hrs, but of course many will nap for 30min only once a day. We had to train our DD to nap b/c she initially would not nap at all (5min here and there) Karen62705 10-12-2005, 06:08 PM My DS is 3.5 months. He will stay awake for two hours then take a 30-40 minute nap. This goes on for the entire day up untill bedtime. I have found if I let him go more then two hours he gets overly tired and very cranky. If I put him down few minutes before the 2 hour mark he goes right down with no trouble at all. I would really rather him take 2 long naps, and I'm sure that will happen....I just don't know when. Kiera1595 10-13-2005, 06:47 AM DD is like Karen's child, except mine is 7 months old! Taking 3 naps a day. Needs to be put down after being up for 2 hours (like clockwork) She usually sleeps for about 1 hour these days. When both kids were smaller they were power nappers, only sleeping about 20-30 minutes at a time every 2 hours. And of course as newborns there was no rhyme or reason |
