bowogo, wish I could remember, as mine were not terribly high either. I do know that my neuro ordered 21 tests total on spinal fluid and blood drawn that day, they said she always orders "extra" tests - just don't know which! When she went over the test results with me I remember her talking about monoclonal and oligoclonal proteins. Monoclonal were elevated, I believe oligoclonal were slightly elevated.
I don't honestly know what constitutes a definite diagnosis! Brief summary: I have around 12 small, not active lesions in the brain. No spinal lesions. Evoked Potentials were better than average. LP slightly positive in 2 of 3 indicators. Don't have an established relapsing/remitting history of symptoms, but no other explanation for L'Hermittes and parasthesia (lots of blood work done). Hence, supposed to be hearing from my insurance company any day about starting Copaxone. Oh, and I'm 48, kinda old for onset.
Sometimes it all seems like a crap shoot, doesn't it?
