Hi I am 32 years old and am TTC my second bio child. He is now 2 1/2 years old. We have not prevented pregnancy in all this time, but have probably not tried very hard and with a 4 year old an a 2 year old that think our bed is their bed, it complicates things. I have tried to take my basal body temp, but my 2 year old and 4 year old take turns to wake me up all hours of the night and then in a sleep deprived state I often got up and then remembered about the temp. If I could manage to do this temp thing, what would be an indicator for ovulation. Also with the ovulation predictor kit. Does it matter if you take the test after 8pm or first thing in the morning and why would that matter. Do I have to take the sample at the exact same time every day.
I am going to try clomid in November.
With my 2 year old the RE skipped cholmid and put me on repronex - and by the grace of God I got pregnant the first month :bouncing: !!!! I was scheduled for IUI aswell, but they could not find my ovum and canceled it - still got pregnant the old fashioned way. Currently I do not have the finances to do Repronex. Repronex produced 3 follies for me, but they were not growing well so the RE had me do more injections over the weekend, but by Monday ovums had dissapeared and that is when he canceled the IUI
Will Chlomid produce more follies or less? Does Repronex usually produce a small number of follies like 3. My husband has low sperm count and motility as well, but I am going to try the Cholmid without IUI for 2 months just to see if I ovulate.
Wow a bunch of questions, I hope someone can help me answer all these
Thanks

Karenn - after looking up the times the my ovulation kit says to take the test, I am incorrect in the above post. The times my kit says are from 11am-3pm and 5pm-10pm and it also says to reduce your liquid intake for 2 hours prior, since drinking excessive liquids can dilute the LH in your urine, giving you a negative test result when it should be positive. My kit says "early morning testing is not recommended, as most women experience a blood LH surge, but it does not show up in the urine until later in the day."

Hope this helps...so sorry I gave you incorrect information.
