My period is a few days late now, I took Plan B about 3 weeks ago after using the withdrawl method (ejaculation occured elsewhere, but I was worried about pre-cum inside me) and should have gotten my period a few days ago. I was wondering if a late period is possibly just a side effect of Plan B or if I should get a home pregnancy test incase it was ineffective? (I have not had sex since I took the Plan B so I would have to be pregnant from the sex three weeks ago. Would I have any symptoms yet? I have nothing aside from slight breast tenderness and other regular pms symptoms).

Thanks. I was just worried because I took Plan B around the time I would have ovulated, so I was afraid that would make Plan B less effective since its primary function is to stop ovulation, so if I was ovulating then, I was worried the egg might be released before Plan B stopped ovulation and I would get pregnant.
