I also was just diagnosed with asthma a few weeks ago, ive posted messages on here previously. But i have a quesiton. Ive been wondering this for a long time. Back when i was in high school which was 5 years ago. i ran track and cross country. During the races and after the races i was sooo winded, i couldnt catch my breathe, it was hard to catch my breathe, and hard to breathe at times. After id finished my race id walk around and try to catch my breathe, but it took close to 10-15 mins before i could catch my breathe, my chest would also feel like it was very tight and a slight burning sensation. I always wondered if this was asthma??? Can anyone tell me if this is/was asthma. (well of course i was diagnosed with it now) but if i knew it was asthma then, id a went to the docs about it, i just didnt know.

Yes, sounds like asthma....you shouldn't be that winded after running.
