I Have Had Daily Dizziness For Almost 2 Years, But Just Recently Began Getting Pressure In My Head, Usually My Temples, But Sometimes In My Forehead And Other Areas. Is This Common With Vestibular Disorders? And Why This Far Into It? Thanks!

HI Stcarlsen
Ive been reading you back posts and it sounds like you had a really rough time with lots of different stuff going on that could be causing your pressure and headaches. I have suffered with headaches and pressure as you describe - pressure in the forehead, top of head, temples. I think in my case it may be tension - from sitting at a computer every day and also just from stress from having this thing. I wonder if the braces you have are causing some tension in your head and shoulders which is contributing aswell. Does your shoulders and back of neck feel tense? Do you do any relaxation or have any massages? I don't know much about TMJ but this sounds likely but wouldn't relaxation help with that too? How much longer do you have to wear the braces for?

hi, thanks for responding, i only have to wear the braces for a few more months. i do have really bad posture, and my neck and shoulders are real tight too. i noticed that my ears feel like they need to pop alot. it makes sense that it could be muscle tension and TMJ problems. what have you done to ease your pressure, and how often do you get it? thanks

Hi,
I find it really hard to ease the pressure actually. I found some stretching exercises on the internet to reduce tension in neck and shoulders, and I have deep tissue massages occasionally to really work on the deep seated muscle tension which seems to help a lot. Now that I am more aware of it I notice when I am becoming tense and go for a short walk or get up and stretch. It helps.
Good that you only have to wear your braces for another few months, Im sure you must be so proud of your teeth now!
