Hello everyone!

I have not been diagnosed w/cts, but I was diagnosed with tendonitis from my fingers to my elbows and bursitis from my elbows up... Originally I was diagnosed about 7 years ago. I went to physical therapy and it got better. Then a cpl years later I started a job where I was typing all day. The pain returned. I dealt with it and gradually the typing lessened and the pain improved. Now I just started a brand new job where Im typing all day again and it has been a week and the pain is becomming unbearable again. The pain is going from my finger tips up into my shoulders and neck. I dont have insurance right now, so I cant really go to the doctor. About 6 months ago I did go to the doc and had xrays on my neck bc I was having bad pain in my neck/shoulder area and the xrays showed that I had a pinched nerve in my spine. Doc gave me steroid pills and anti inflammatory meds and it got better. I was just wondering what all of you do for a living and if it contributed to cts? I mean, what is the different symptoms for tendonitis/bursitis and cts? I dont know what else to do! I have the wrist rest thingee and I wear ace bandages on my wrists but nothing is helping! Maybe it has turned into cts?
Thanks for any advice/answers!

Hi,

I had symptoms similar to yours and had tried various things. The thing which finally worked is the Egoscue method. Look up www.egoscue.com

It's a set of exercises designed to realign the skeleton, which is what's causing the pain in the first place.

I should mention that this is no magic pill which will cure you like a tablet or operation - it will, however, start working within the very first few days and the pain will lessen very noticably. I noticed a satisfactory pain reduction within about 4 days. Now, 2 months on, I'm not in pain but I do have traces of aches and the occasional tingle.

Hope this helps.
