Okay so as you can see, i've been battling a cough flu for almost a month now.
Symptoms are totally gone but let me give you the run down.
1. Sore throat
2. Then came the dry cough
3. Then came the colorful phlegm (mostly green and yellow and lasted for 4 days and then i went a week with white/clear phlegm)
4. Blood in m mocus only happend 3 or 4 times the whole time i have been sick. And it was streaks of blood when i throat was irritated.
5. Phlegm is practically gone and cough is one or twice a day.
(Never got fever, or any type of pain anywhere)

Okay, now the only things i have are leaving me a bit worried.
I have this cough that seems to get triggered when something happens in my throat. I can sometimes feel the post nasal drip because i feel like i'm swallowing mocus in the back of my throat. Now when i breath in and i exhale it's like it kind of hurts in my throat. It triggers a small spasm and makes me cough for aroudn 10 to 15 seconds.
That's it, that's all the symptoms i have left.
Does this mean that the cold is still trying to get out of my system or should i be worried?
My first visit to the doc he told me it was post nasal drip that gave me a throat infection.
Also, i'm not the only one, several friends and family members and people around LA got this type of flu with coughing and phlegm.
My symptoms never worsened so should i keep waiting?
I mean, does it sound serious?
Thanks to anyone that can help

I see you've consulted your doctor. He would know best; however, your symptoms sound more to me like you have an allergy. I suppose he has checked you for strep throat and the flu, as that's usually the first thing to be done if you present with your symptoms.

I'm sorry I cannot be of any real help to you. It just sounds like you have allergies to me.
