I am going to be 'put out' for my wisdom tooth extraction. I am not supposed to eat/drink anything for (I think they said) 8 hours before the appointment. However, they said I could take my thryoid medicine. The problem is for some reason, maybe its chalky, I cant swollow the pill without taking 4 or 5 large gulps of water!
So my question is this, will 4 or 5 large gulps be ok with the anesthesia?

I'd love to help you on this, but general anesthesia isn't something I work with. Your best bet is to call the office and ask them.
