this is a long story so bear with me please, but i need some opinions so here goes, about 2months ago i had an MRI done and it showed a mild degree of intensity on t2 weighted imaging located in the periatrial deep white matter and adjacent deep inferior parietal white matter.there were know focal atrophy or abnornmal signal of either hippocamel formation although the architecture appearance on the left appears slightly typical in that hippocampal formation appears more vertically than the right. they also say they found proof of a light stroke or seizure.and also they wrote in the report that a mild degree of abnormal white matter signal adjacent to the posterior body and atria of the lateral ventricles is observed with differential diagnosis as detailed in the report.ther were also a slight asymmetryof hippocammpal formation on the left it appeared slightly atypical more vertically oriented than on right. This is my blood work: WBC:High- Hemoglobin;High- Hematocrit;High- MCV;High- MCH;High-Platelet count;High- SEGS;High-Eosinophils;Low-ABS SEGS;High.Does anyone have any ideal if this blood count is possiblely caused from the abnormal lesions or spots in my brain?

Sounds like they are describing some inflammation and the high blood counts would indicate inflammation too. The doctor would have to tell you what this means for you.

Regina2040,

Hi. I have no idea about the results of your scan I'm afraid. But certainly your blood results should be looked into.

It sounds very much like you have something called Polycythaemia. Don't panic! This is just a term that means your 'cell' counts in your blood are high.
It should probably, at the very least, be repeated and confirmed. You don't mention by how much they were high. A simple explaination could be that you were dehydrated when the blood was taken.

As to whether you blood results are linked to your scan results, I think only your doctor can say.

Hope you find your answer soon

Take Care:)
