Has anyone ever gone to a Nutritionist because of MS?
I went to one today and had a very interesting conversation about processed foods, and hormornes, and essential fatty acids.
I learned that artificial sweetners are bad, that they are just chemicals, that if I want a sweetner to get sugar
I have waited all my life to hear that :bouncing:
Milk, to drink whole or 2% milk because of the essential fats that are in milk, not to drink alot but on cereal is ok
To skip the diet soda, and caffeine, stick to water
use whole grains wheat bread, brown rice, veggies, to use evoo extra virgin olive oil,
To keep taking vitamin e and calcium w/d and that she will be telling me about other vitamins to take that will help
Gosh who knows maybe my ms is caused by the foods that I have eaten over the years I go back next Monday and I am excited about this,
I am excited mostly because I can't see where the drugs are anything that I will stop taking and may need to take more of them, and if I can control any of this with food then that is the way I want to go
How about anybody else? Have you ever thought about food and it's effects
just some food for thought hehehehe :jester:

Vitamin B-12 is apparently important in people with MS. One of my co-workers was telling me about his father who had MS and had to take b-12... it did help.
I'll tell my GF about your diet information though. SHe's supposed to be going to see a dietician in the next while.
