Shadowrider 10-18-2005, 05:10 PM howdy, I wanted to delete this since it's been up awhile and no need to take up space! Sponsor lilc 10-21-2005, 09:32 AM But I finally had time to reply!!! I'm glad it was a good appt, and found it interesting about the different "slices". Dang it, wish the whole post was still here! Thanks for being here, Shad. Shadowrider 10-23-2005, 12:28 PM Thanks, Lilc....I can't imagine working 12 hours every day!!! Wow!! I just deleted my post because it was kinda upbeat and with so many others getting bad news...well, you know. I saw a great little movie last night, "In Her Shoes." Turned out to be a meaty story about sisters. I think you'd like it. I'm on the Neurontin now for only a few days. Sure makes me sleep great! Slept 9 and a half hours last night! I can tell already my right arm is less itchy. Rest of stuff so far still there but I know it takes time. When do you start your Copax? Shad lilc 10-23-2005, 07:23 PM Is the movie the new one with S. McLaine? Thought that looked good! Hope the neurontin works for you, I am very grateful for it. Pharmacy called Friday, sounds like the Copax will be here any day, just waiting for pre-auth, but initial info indicates I may only have to pay $50 per month (WHOA! GOD IS GOOD!!!) I guess "major medical" coverage considers MS to be "major", LOL! Ooo, but stop distracting me from what I really wanted to say, you'd better ALWAYS give us the GOOD news!!! Hon, we get to laugh, cry and celebrate together. That's what friends do, don't you forget it!!! Shadowrider 10-23-2005, 08:22 PM Ha, Lilc, okie dokie, you gotta deal. Yes, that's the movie, with S. McLaine and Cameron Diaz. I went with someone else who selected it and I was afraid it'd be some mindless thing, but it ends up being a very touching story, made me cry a bit. praise God that you will only have to pay the $50 a month copay!! God is indeed Good and we are so blessed to have placed our trust in Him. Makes all days that much sweeter. God bless you, sister! Oh, talking about laughing: here's two "aphasia" episodes today. I was working with my husband on going thru a service manual for our truck and he said something about "tune ups" and my brain read "two nups" and I had to chew on that a bit and then ask him to repeat himself. I just couldn't figure out what Two Nups were! And out in the barn, I was talking out loud to a horse and asking him to move out of the way, I said, "Move over. I have to get the...er....spoon...the...er....spatula. ..the ... er...SHOVEL!" Well, they all started with S and they all pick up stuff! have a grand evening. Shad lilc 10-23-2005, 11:13 PM Lol! One of my favorites was a friend who wasn't sick at all, just 50-something and excited about a dress - it was black with white dots, she called them "pew-pew-pots"! Sleep well! Shadowrider 10-23-2005, 11:32 PM LOL!! A friend of mine, driving and being passed by a load of chickens, said to her passenger, "Look at all those ficken cheathers!" I will! (sleep well) you, too. |
