Hello everyone !!! I am new to the message board and I was just wondering about something....I have had MS since '98 and have had most of the symptoms that I have been reading about and recently started with a new one. Was simply curious if anyone else has experienced what seems to be cold, wet spots on the backs of their legs or other areas at any time. It drives me crazy. Often makes me feel as if someone is behind me squirting me with a squirt gun or something...LOL ! I also wanted to say to all out there that I wish the best for everyone and can tell you it is good to know that I am not alone with some of the feelings I have been having !! Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this type of symptom. Is not painful, just very annoying as is with most of the symptoms of MS !!!

Oh yes! My sister has MS also. I called her a few months ago to ask the same question. It felt as though water was running down my leg. And there are the cold and/or hot spots. She and I both have had those experiences!

Yep. Me too. On my left thigh, in the front, it often feels as if I have spilled something cold and wet on my lap. This happens to me for about two to three minutes, perhaps every hour or so.

WOW - I got so excited to see this post. Last week, one day for about 6 hours the side of my right leg, just below my knee and to the outside, felt wet. I was at work and thought I had bumped into something and had wet pants, I kept trying to wipe it off, finally reached down and examined to discover that I was not wet at all. It drove me crazy, then later that evening it began burning, burned all night and the next day and night. The burning became so bad that I got MEAN, I was hateful because it really hurt (not a good excuse for being hateful - but I was). Finally it all stopped on the 3rd day.
So interesting to see your post because I thought for a moment that I had made the post last week and forgotten it !!!! It was my first experience of feeling wet !

Thanks everyone so much for the replies...was not sure if it was the MS or if it was just a state of mind !!!!....People look at me like I am disturbed or something when I continually turn around to see if something wet is on my leg. LOL !! I always check to see if I have a cold spot on the skin, but there never is one to touch. That is what is so annoying about it. But it seems as if I have been experiencing this for a couple of weeks or more now, on and off. Thanks again EVERYONE !!
