When do your periods become more regular?
I was on a low does pill for 6 months and now I am on my 4th pack of regular pills. Right now I am on day 38, my last three cycles have been 31, 41, AND 33. I thought my periods would be more regular by now. I may have missed a pill or two, but took it as soon as I noticed. I have also taken a few pills late.
Any info is appreciated.

It can take several cycles for periods to become regulated. Are you saying that it's been 38 days since your last period?
You may require a different combination of hormones. Most women get their periods every 28 days exactly when using the pill. Some women can narrow down the arrival of their periods to the exact hour. Definately talk to your prescribing physician.

Thanks. This is my 10th month on the pill. The first 6 months, I was on a low-dose pill b/c I was breastfeeding. I am currently on my 4th pack of Estrostep. Yes, it has been 38 days since the first day of my last period. I took a pg test yesterday and it was negative. Maybe this is due to me taking pills late. I usually take them at night, but somtimes forget and take them first thing in the morning. I think I missed a pill a few weeks ago, but doubled as soon as I noticed.
I will ask my OBGYN about it. I would like to switch to a cheaper brand anyway.
