i know that when you are anorexic, your hair will fall out and your teeth rot and it can screw up your skin and all those other symptoms...

well i have been eating normal again for a while and I am just now experiancing these symptoms. the hair loss stopped but im taking medications for it (spironolactone) but skin went nuts and my teeth get a lot of tartar and i always feel like i have bad breath.

my doctor said the symptoms can be delayed and happen a while after..even if u started eating again. or something along those lines...

is that right? when will it stop? i feel like my teeth are gonna fall right out of my mouth

hm, I have sort of experienced a delay in some of my anorexic symptoms. My period was normal through the worst of my ED, but it did lighten significantly a few months later after I had started to eat again (though my eating still wasn't normal until very recently). My hair is still falling out even though I've been eating normally, but I have that this can sometimes happen because once you are eating again, your body may start to shed the unhealthy hair. Maybe that explains what is happening to your skin as well. I'm not sure when this stuff will stop, it probably varies from person to person, but it's a huge incentive to keep up with your recovery. The more stably you eat all the nutrition your body needs, then faster your body will heal.

That's really interesting because that happened to me too. When I was at my worst with my ED my periods were fine and now they are significantly lighter or always really late. It's weird how our bodies react to things.
