Hi all,
I'm sort of worried about something.
A few days ago, I started taking evening primrose softgels. (1 softgel a day, of 1,000 mg.)
Since then, my stomach has been all messed up, I've had terrible heartburn, and I get very nauseus unless I eat the blandest of food. I've also lost a pound in the last 3 days.
I don't know if I'm allergic to it, or it's something unrelated that just happens to be a time coincidence. I'm on the south beach diet, and have been for about six months, so at this point, I'm very aware of my nutriition/health -- so I know it's nothing I'm eating. I do take green tea pills too - but those I've been taking a while, and never had a problem with. Maybe it's some sort of interaction between the two?
Has anyone else had any weird side effects from these vitamins?

YES it very well could be from EPO. I also have this problem! I'd like to know why this happens myself. I get acid reflux, terribly nauseated and chills like I have the flu. Same as you when taking EPO, I can only tolerate bland foods. Hope somebody can help us out here. It works wonders for my hair. I guess its a choice of nice hair or feeling good. :D For me I believe its simply a digestive matter even though I do take plenty of digestive enzymes.
P.S. Does anybody know if they have this in liquid form?

Really you all should be taking a balanced EFA....3*6*9 the evening primrose is all omega 3s isn't it? Your throwing the body off balance, try a better mix of the omegas. Apologises if this doesn't make sense ...1 and half a.m. here.

I tried the combination EFA with no luck. Only thing at this point I can tolerate is 2 tsp ground flaxseed and 1/2 tsp of lecithin granules.
