Okay i switched the Levora about a month ago. I went through my first pack, had extreme nasusea towards the end. Now yesterday I just started my second pack and was okay last night. today I took my pill @ the same time (1:40 PM.. i have a timer set) and i have the worst nausea. I cant take it anymore! I eat it with a meal, I've even tried taking it at night. I just wake up in the middle of the night feeling like im going to get sick, or I feel that way in the morning. Please someone help, I cant take this anymore.. I cant even eat.. I feel like im going to get sick even thinking about food. It's seriously an every day thing... help PLEASE!

ps. Ive been on BCP for about a year and 1/2 now. I just switched to a higher dosage due to my period not being light enough and still a lot of cramps. I know its the higher dosage doing this to me. I just dont know what else to do...

When I had pill related nausea the only thing in the world that made me feel better was brushing my teeth, and the relief only lasted about 30 seconds :) I was sick 24/7 for 3 months (my doctor insisted I stick it out). Not only that, I had a 100% loss of appetite. I couldn't stand the smell, sight, or mention of food. Even my absolute favorite foods. I would choke down half a meal a day.
So sorry, no good answers, except maybe get off that pill!

Hi All, I'm a newbie, but I've had my experiences with severe nausea and I finally had to ask my Dr. to give me someting for nausea; so he gave me Phenergan, (excuse my spelling ;)) and that solved the problem. I've been taking it for years now. I have to take several hard knock narcos a day plus Klonpin and others and that took care of it. There are other meds that help with nausea; but check them out first. Some can leave you with permanent side effects; so I stick to the Phenergan. And another thing, it works fast too and I don't get sleepy on it either; but I do get the dry mouth so I have to keep something to drink with me all the time. Hope that helps. Its funny because i just went a brushed my teeth and you're right... it did help for about a minute.. but then i went to my neighbors room (im @ college) and they were eating cottage cheese and i just about ran back to the bathroom and threw up.

Hey, at least I might lose weight...... :-/. Unfortunatley... i am experiences a 100% loss of appetite as well.. i cant wait til my next period so i can stop taking this pill for a couple days!!! I just wish there was some kinda over the counter med i could take to help out... it sucks to even concentrate in class because i just... cant.. i feel like i have the flu 24/7!! :(
