Has anyone experienced weight gain with the copper I.U.D? I have had it for just over a year now and have gained about 6lbs. and having a very hard time losing it. I am also without a Thyroid and taking hormone replacement for that(that's a whole other topic!!) I read that copper can interfere with you thyroid. Any info?

I don't believe that the Paragrad is causing your weight to change. Since it doesn't have any hormones in it. I have had been for about 8 months now and i haven't gain anything . It might be the Thoyid meds that you are taking that's causing it.
