and I still have whatever this is. Ive noticed the last few days, i've felt so bad again.........just like when I did when this all started a year ago. The weather has been cool...........which I usually feel better, but its also been damp. I have an appointment tomorrow with my GP........and I'm going to ask her for an mri.......ct scan...........and whatever else........cause I need some answers. I've been SOOOOOOOOOO foggy headed the last couple of days............and it gets so bad at times throughout the day, that I feel like i'm going to pass out. DOes weather affect others on here?? THanks!!!

before doing an MRI, CT Scan, etc. Go to the pharmacy and get some Chlor-Tremiton 4hour tablets. Try this for one week. If you are still foggy after a few days, try the 12hour version -it will make you sleepy initially, but you will adjust after a couple of days. There is a generic version called "Wal-Finate" and it is really cheap. Other antihistamines don't have the same ingredient, and don't work (in my opinion).
If you still have problems, get yourself an irrigation machine, and start using it 3 times a day.
I am foggy all the time (90%+). It is from inflammation of the soft tissue in the sinuses due to allergy -most likely a dust allergy, which is impossible to avoid.
If you are only foggy, it isn't an infection. An infection has other symptoms (major head pressure, blurry vision, discolored discharge from the nose, sore throat, etc.)

Hi Chiggins..........thanks for the reply. I have tried Chlor-Trimeton.....and it always did help some but it didn't last long enough. I couldn't find the 12 hr pills though. I went to the Dr. yesterday, and she put me on SIngulair.........and told me to take it at bedtime, and continue with the Allegra 180 like I have been (once a day) She wants me to try it for a few days, cause she said you can tell within a few days if that'll help.......and if not, she wants me to try Zoloft................cause she said my anxiety could be causing me alot of problems..................and then............IF I don't find relief with those, then we are doing a CT scan...........or MRI. She just asked me to try this..........and then we'll do further testing if it doesn't work. I know that its been a year...........and I'm ready for some relief. How do you cope with your foggy head?? That and the dizziness is the worst part for me. Take care.

I don't think any problems you have with anxiety are causing your problems. But I guess you have to humor her, to get your CT scan.
I disagree that if you are only foggy it isn't an infection. I suffered with a "stealth" infection for almost a year. My only symptoms were my fogginess, my "normal" slight congestion and PND. Everyone including myself thought it was "just allergies" Until it finally made itself known by dripping into my chest and causing SOB.
