Hi! Alright here's the dilema:

So far I have been on birthcontrol for 3 complete weeks. However, the very first week I was taking the pill, i dropped one down the drain by mistake. So, i just took the next day's pill that night. So since then, i have been one day ahead.
I figured it was fine but last night i reached the 4 week (one day before hand) and didn't take my pill because it was a placebo pill (for the last week - your period week supposedly). Should i have taken a pill from my other pack last night instead of skipping? And what do i do now?

you need to take 21 active pills in a row to be protected from pregnancy on your placebo week. and now, technically, you need to use protection on the first 7 days of your 2nd pack too. (at least, I would, to be sure you're safe)

if i was in your situation, i would take the 2nd pack right after all 7 placebos, and then maybe ask your Dr or Gyn if they could give you a sample pack to use in case this happens again, so that you have a spare one you can borrow from if this happens again. i had this happen to me before and the spare pack is really useful.

Thank you so much! But another quick question, do you think that i should keep being "one day ahead" or should i get back on track?

it doesnt really matter, because you need to take 7 active pills before you're protected again, anyway... i would stay one day ahead if it was me... you'd get to the end of those 7 days quicker...
