Well, I'm getting the 4 wisdoms teeth removed next Thursday and I'm scared as hell. But I think I'm more worried about how I will get home!! I'm getting it done by my dentist and he asked me "we can give you nitris if youd like" meaning, if i dont get it do you think i could drive home??? or is it crazy to do the surgery w/o nitris?? it'd be really hard to change my appointment, if the surgery got done at 11am id have to wait an hour and a half for a ride home, i dont even know if theyd let me sit there for that long? any help would be appreciated

I have heard that you should be able to drive home after having nitrus sedation. I know if you have IV sedation you not only can't drive home, but you have to have another adult at the office during the proceedure and to take you home (sorry Taxi drivers).
Try not to worry about the procedure...it isn't bad at all. It will be 3 weeks this Friday since I had mine removed and I never had any pain or discomfort. Three weeks later, and I don't even notice I had it done now.
