Well, the testing went well, and I feel vindicated by the results. I had Skin Endpoint Titration done. It uses needles in your arm and tests various concentrations to see what you react to. I tested positive for a few trees my blood testing didn't show at all. That alone explains my winter misery. Also, my dustmite and molds were still very high, and the nurse said I haven't been getting strong enough allergy shots for those. Grasses took a very strong concentration of serum to produce a reaction, so it shows that those shots are working. Cat came up suprisingly high, while the dog shot is apparently working because that was okay. Ragweed didn't register at all, which suprised us both because it was highly positive in my South Carolina results. Apparently, the allergy shots I recieved there took care of my ragweed allergy.

All in all, It was a good test. The nurse said she is very glad we did it, and it will be very interesting to see if these shots improve my symptoms. She is very optimistic.

Good deal! Hope they get the dosage adjusted to handle these. Isn't it always funny what shows up one time and not the next?

yes it is very strange. The cat suprised me, as I don't think I have any problems with them at all. Dogs on the other hand, are a huge problem for me. But this time the cat was high and the dog wasn't. So I guess the dog shot is working LOL.

But yes she is upping the shots on certain ones, and she says I should notice a difference!

seems like every time I have it done, cat and dog flip flop on me. This past time cat moved up to #2...but ragweed always seems to stay #1...of course, I live in the ragweed capital of the world!
