View Full Version : Tooth pain with eating

Does anyone know why a tooth would hurt after chewing harder food like meat? I have a back molar that is crowned, and whenever I chew alot on it, especially with meat, it starts aching and hurting even all around my gum area...I just want to grit my teeth together or rub my gums....I've tried flossing after eating and it seems to make it worse. It's so tender that now it bleeds when I floss...Could this be something wrong with the tooth....normally it doesn't bother me but when it does it will hurt for hours and then I wake up the next morning and it is fine again...
