this may not be related to dental at all...my tongue has cracks all over and areas of redness, not ulcers or sores...but always feels like i have eaten something too hot. asked my dentist said to use a certain mouth rinse, did not help. this has been an issue for 10 years. any ideas/help

I have this problem also, had it for over 8 months now. I have seen my GP and an ENT....had many blood tests run all came out fine. My ENT said that this may be something that I just have to live with. THere is a condition called BMS (Burning Mouth Syndrome)...many people have this problem, but unfortunately there is no cure, chewing spearmint gums takes the burning pain away...that does the trick for me. Hope this helps
