I have these sneezing attacks where I violently sneeze for hours on end. My nose is completely drippy, and I get this tickle in it that causes these really loud sneezes, ten in a row for hours on end. Then I feel really sleepy after four hours of constant sneezing. Any ideas? I have bad allergies. Currently on Clariton. Can this be allergy related?

Well, I don't have any answers for you, unfortunately, but I was just thinking a few minutes ago (as I had a violent sneezing attack) that my sneezes are getting stronger! I felt like I could've gotten whiplash, they were so strong! I have been sneezing at least 4-5 times in a row, whereas I used to only sneeze 1-2 times before my "allergies" started getting worse. Tomorrow I go for my allergy testing though...so hopefully I can find something out! Good luck with yours...

Hi Kathie,
Your sneezing sounds exactly like my husband. He'll wake up okay but then unfailingly launch into a day-long sneezing attack that will literally be non-stop. I feel bad for him cause he'll be trying to do something and everything has to stop because of his sneezing fits. He'll just sneeze & sneeze & sneeze. Escpecially during the bad allergy seasons. Seems like there's always something in the air that affects him. He takes claritin now, but has tried flonase and reactine. I'm 100% sure it's allergy related.
Best, Coco
