lichen planus, one of the autoimmune diseases i live with, causes the gums around, specifically, my eye teeth, and near a couple of other ones, to be almost constantly inflamed, red and sore; gum disease has been ruled out in the past. but lately sometimes all i have to do is run my tongue over one of the worst areas and, if there is a piece of food stuck in that area and i "suck" at it to try to remove it, the area around this one tooth just starts bleeding ....alot.
does anyone have anything like this happen to them?
