Hi. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted by local anesthesia on the 9th of april. All four were full bony impactions. The last one (upper right) gave the oral surgeon a run for his money. It took him about 15-20 minutes to get it out. Subsequently my face swelled up until my eye was swollen shut and my chin reached my collar bone. ACK! The swelling as subsided and I hav a black eye and bruised face. From my cheek bone to my lower jaw on the right side is a large tingly lump. It takes up the whole side of my face, is hard and soft in certain spots, and is extremely tender and painful. Also I cannot open my jaw more than about an 1/8 of an inch. barely enough to take a nibble of food. What is happening? I go to the dentist tomorrow but I'm worried and in pain. Thanks for any info.
