View Full Version : A feeling of tightness or pressure from a bridge?

I doubt anyone can understand what I'm asking, but is there such a feeling as tightness or a pressure associated with a partial bridge affixed to teeth?

Obviously, I'm sensing a weird sensation and wondered if anyone has ever experienced even a weightiness that seems associated with a bridge?

Is it possible that what I'm sensing is sinus pressure? Or is it possible the bridge is not securely cemented onto the teeth and there is a slight shifting of the bridge to cause unbalanced fit?

If there were decay of a tooth underneath the bridge, would the disintegrating tooth be "detected" subtly by this weird pressure?

Any suggestions? Thanks, Pat

Hi,

It's funny you should mention this. My sister has the same exact sensation with her bridge(2-3 yrs old). We don't know what it is from either. Wish I could help but ????? Will keep you posted if I learn anymore.

It is mystifying. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone! Regards, Pat
