I have lots of stretch marks in my buttocks and I've had them since my early teens. Since I've had them for so long (I'm 24), they're white in color instead of being reddish. Anyway, I've read that there really isn't a permanent cure for stretch marks so what I have in mind is to whiten the surrounding areas where stretch marks occur. I'm quite tanned so is it possible to whiten the skin that borders the stretch marks? I would have a tanline instead of having the stretch marks pretty obvious. I'm thinking of using hydroquinone. Will this work?

I doubt this would work. Many people with very white skin still have obvious stretchmarks.
