My father was diagnosed with NSCLC about six months ago. He has experienced a 60% reduction in the size of his tumor! He did this by taking small doses of Taxotere chemo drug along with diet. His diet consists of flax seed oil mixed with cottage cheese, blue green algea, and NO sugar.
We think it is a combination of the chemo drug, diet, and prayers. My father is 75 years old and smoked for 60 years. He is doing so much better.
There is hope.

I'm just curious...why eliminate sugar? I mean, I know a lot of sugar isn't good for you anyway...but I would think it would be difficult to elimate ALL sugar from your diet.

Cancer cells love sugar. I have read that eating sugar when you have cancer is like throwing gasoline on a fire. My mom has cut way back on sugar but not eliminated it totally from her diet and she is now a 16 month survivor of stage IV NSCLC . I can not impose my beliefs on her and since she is doing well I don't really try but if I was in her shoes I would be eating a vegetarian diet with NO sugar . I currently use Stevia instead of sugar. If you have never heard of Stevia do a web search as it is worth learning about as a replacement for sugar.
