I have a daughter, but I want more children, especially now that I am married. But I have a friend who did this weird thing with my wedding ring. She hung it from a string over my hand, and it turned around. She says that it shows her how many children you will have and what sex they are. She did it for herself, and it showed all her children, even the miscarriages. she did it to another friend, and it showed true for her as well. she did it for my husband, and it didn't show anything, and for me it only showed my daughter. I don't believe in stuff like that, but it still caused me to worry about it. Has anyone ever heard of anything like that? I know that it is stupid to base fears on that one little trick, but I still worry. She also said that it showed no children for another friend, yet that friend had a little boy. so what does someone think about that?

It's funny... I just heard about one where you take a necklace with a pendant and drop it on the palm of your hand 3 times and then stop and see how it moves. If it goes back and forth, boy, if it goes in a circle, girl. My friends have all done it and I was afraid to because I thought it wouldn't do anything. Mine went back and forth the first time and then in a circle the next and when I went to do it a 3rd time it didn't do anything. I took this to mean, boy, girl and done. I had never heard of anything like this but it sure was interesting.

Fun topic! I read that in a book you can use a ring, a sewing needle, or anything else that can be used as a pendulem (sp?). Basically, what you are suppose to do is ask a question. If it moves left to right, it means no. If it moves up and down it means yes, if it moves in a circle, it means it doesn't know. No matter how still you stay, you are going to move very slightly. Even breathing can effect it to move. Keep that in mind ladies! :)

I just hope that it is just a "trick" and doesn't actually predict, because I want to have more children.
